Mignonne, allons voir si la rose est l'un des poèmes les plus célèbres de Pierre de Ronsard, écrit en 1545.Cette ode, inspirée du poète latin Ausone, est composée en 1545 après la rencontre de Pierre de Ronsard, âgé de 20 ans, avec Cassandre Salviati, fille d'un banquier italien. Ce poème fait partie du premier livre des Odes, 17, et évoque la jeunesse qui passe comme le temps d'une fleur. Cette méditation de la vieillesse et de la mort est un thème récurrent dans la littérature tant religieuse que profane, aussi bien que dans les arts, à cette époque.
